Not all products intended for export to Russia are subject to the statutory certification. In order to facilitate the problem-free customs processing and further marketing of products in Russia, the accredited certification institute VNIIS issues a clearance certificate for the respective delivery.

There are two types of clearance certificates:

• Clearance certificate for customs (customs is entered as the recipient)
• Clearance certificate for commercial trade (applicant is entered as the recipient)
